Extracurricular Activities
At Footsteps we have additional activities for our children to develop their enquiring minds. We offer a wide range of classes for children to enjoy including French, Football, IT, Gym, Stretch and Grow, Cooking and Soft Play and most are free of charge. Please take a look below for further details.
We are very excited about our children’s kitchen. This will encourage enjoyment of planning and preparing healthy eating options. Cooking offers a range of learning opportunities about weight, volume changes from raw to cooked, new words, working together, conforming to rules in health and safety and working with adults, to name a few. The children have the opportunity to access this kitchen on a daily basis, they get involved with prepping up snacks and daily meals along with making extra treats to take home at the end of the day.
- Soft play - This activity is available in our new soft play area every day, for all ages, and there is no charge.
- Cooking - Our chef Yusuf teaches the children cooking in our new, specially equipped children’s kitchen. This activity takes place every day and we encourage all ages to take part.
